Register Now for October 10th Piece by Piece Neighborhood Investment Conference


On Thursday, October 10, Piece by Piece — the metro Atlanta regional foreclosure response initiative — will be convening institutional investors, regional government leaders, affordable housing stakeholders and others for a collaborative discussion about recent real estate investment trends and strategies to ensure long-term health and viability of metro Atlanta neighborhoods.

This Neighborhood Investment Conference is being presented with support from the Atlanta Regional Commission and Enterprise Community Partners and will be held from 8:30am to 12:30pm at the Loudermilk Center for the Regional Community at 40 Courtland Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30303.

This half-day conference will provide:

  • An overview of local and national investor activity in the scattered-site, single-family rental market;
  • A discussion with private equity firms on their long-term goals, property management strategies, opportunities for partnerships with nonprofits, and more;
  • An examination of the Phoenix, AZ market and a discussion on what lessons Atlanta can learn from it; and
  • A discussion of the role of code enforcement, an overview of a unique approach in Baltimore, MD, and a look at Atlanta’s code enforcement activity.
