Registration Still Open for December 4 Housing Forum

ATLHousingForumThere’s still time to register for the next Atlanta Regional Housing Forum, taking place next Wednesday, December 4 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Atlanta.

Providing the keynote will be Nathaniel Hendren, one of four co-authors of the study The Equality of Opportunity Project. The study was conducted by researchers at Harvard University and the University of California, Berkeley and details tax policy and income mobility in cities and regions across the country. Not everyone agrees with the study’s findings or the media’s reporting on it. In August, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed published in the Huffington Post a critical response to the study’s methodology and the New York Times’ coverage of the report, with particular respect to metro Atlanta.
