The 2015 South Metro Development Outlook (SMDO) is set for Wednesday, February 18 from 7:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park.
SMDO serves as a platform to convene professionals with an interest in fostering smart growth in the southern crescent, highlighting the City of Atlanta and Clayton, Coweta, Douglas, Fayette, Henry, Spalding and South Fulton Counties. The event features industry experts and government officials providing invaluable information relevant to South Metro’s continued growth.
This year’s conference will feature topics including the new Clayton County/MARTA partnership, film industry growth, BeltLine West and South Metro economic forecasting, and more. It will culminate with a talk by Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (H-JAIA) general manager Miguel Southwell, providing insight on new developments planned for H-JAIA, including the 24-hour “Airport City” and its economic impact.
